Dietary restriction of common salt and refined sugar has been associated with increased quality of life and decreased risk of cardiovascular events as documented through several clinical trials. A diet therefore should be devoid/ reduced of these ingredients.

You can replace these with low sodium salt and Aspartame to reduce risk of hypertension and diabetes. Eat your fair share of fruits and vegetables for a healthy lifestyle. Don’t forget to include exercise along with it ( any intensity) for a minimum of 20 minutes daily.
